Technical Preparator (m/f/d) - Aviation Specialist

About the Role

As a Technical Preparator with a focus on aviation orders, you will be instrumental in the technical preparation and execution of complex projects within the aerospace industry. You will manage the entire lifecycle of these orders, ensuring technical feasibility, precise planning, and seamless collaboration between customers, internal teams, and production.

Responsibilities

• Technical work preparation with a focus on aviation orders, including reviewing incoming contracts and customer specifications for feasibility.
• Independently conduct feasibility studies, request necessary customer documentation, and create manufacturing orders according to specific requirements.
• Develop, design, and graphically elaborate fixture concepts, as well as create testing documents and instructions.
• Maintain customer contact via phone and on-site, holistically manage projects, and plan new applications from preparation to implementation.
• Act as a central interface to clarify technical issues internally, support production, and actively drive the optimization of manufacturing processes.
• Participate in offer reviews and supplier support, process complaints in collaboration with internal partners, and have the potential to develop into a deputy aviation manager.

Qualifications

• Completed training as a state-certified technician in the field of manufacturing, process, or design engineering.
• Several years of experience in technical order processing, enabling you to confidently manage even complex requirements.
• Fluent German and good English language skills, used confidently in the professional environment.
• Ideally, knowledge of thermal coating and experience with MS Office and Oracle.
• Proficient handling of CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks.
• An independent and structured work style, coupled with the ability to think holistically about processes.
