About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the entire client process after onboarding, from the initial roadmap to the completed project and the next upsell. You are not an administrator; you are responsible for results.
Responsibilities
Daily Tasks:
- Check client status: blockers, open to-dos, deadlines – proactively, not reactively.
- Manage client communication: clear, structured, requiring no follow-ups from clients.
- Internal coordination with consultants, tax/legal experts, and back office.
- Review and approve deliverables: ensuring premium quality both technically and visually.
- Identify risks early and escalate them – before issues arise.
Weekly Tasks:
- Client review: progress, results, next steps.
- Plan fulfillment week: capacities, priorities, deadlines.
- Identify upsell and upgrade potentials and hand them over to sales.
- Case capture: document client results for marketing and sales.
Content Focus:
You will guide projects related to:
- Holding structures (GmbH + Holding-GmbH, tax advantages).
- Company pension schemes for managing directors (pension commitments, supplementary insurance, direct insurance).
- Investment real estate (cash flow, depreciation, financing).
- Tax optimization and company structure.
- Alternative investment funds and club deals (basic knowledge).
You don't need to be a tax advisor, but you must be able to guide clients content-wise, categorize questions, and escalate them correctly.
Client Rhythm:
- Onboarding SLA: Ready to start (kick-off, goals, roadmap) within 48–72 hours after deal closure.
- Weekly: Status update + next steps + deliverables.
- Quarterly: Outcome Report + plan next phase + upsell discussion.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in Account Management, Client Success, Project Management, or consulting.
- Ideally, a background in financial advisory, tax advisory, a business law firm, or similar.
- Proven results: NPS > 8, Retention > 80%, experience with upsells or renewals.
- Extremely organized and proactive: you don't wait; you act.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – premium tonality.
- German C2 level, professional demeanor.
- You live in or around Mainz – or are willing to relocate.
Content Foundation (Mandatory or quick learning willingness):
- Basic understanding of holding structures and tax optimization.
- Basic knowledge of company pension schemes (bAV) for managing directors.
- Interest in investment real estate, alternative investments.
- Understanding of entrepreneurial challenges: tax burden, asset protection, retirement planning.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Notion, Google Workspace, project boards.
- Experience in supporting consulting projects with multi-month durations.
- Personal interest in wealth building and entrepreneurship.
