We are recruiting exclusively for a traditional, family-run production company in the food industry at its location in the Bodensee region.

Responsibilities

Tasks

You will assume overall responsibility for the production plants at the site, reporting directly to management with a clear focus on operations. We are looking for an experienced leader with standing and a desire to shape the future, who is operationally effective and simultaneously develops the site strategically. The role offers real entrepreneurial responsibility with perspective.

In essence, this means:

• Overall operational and strategic responsibility for the production plants
• Direct leadership and development of local management teams
• Ensuring efficient, stable, and economical operation
• Responsibility for KPIs, budget, and earnings development
• Identification and implementation of optimization potentials along the entire value chain
• Close collaboration with central functions and cross-departmental coordination
• Driving change processes and continuous improvement

Qualification

Requirements

• Several years of leadership experience in a comparable overall responsibility. Ideally in the pharmaceutical, food industry (FMCG).
• Strong operations focus with proven experience in managing and optimizing production processes.
• Sound knowledge of quality and hygiene standards (e.g., IFS, HACCP) or comparable regulated environments.
• Strategic thinking ability combined with operational effectiveness.
• Hands-on mentality, high implementation orientation, structured work approach.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, experience in team development.
• Experience in change management and continuous improvement.
