This is an exciting opportunity to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Payroll Specialist Lead within our Global Payroll Operations Team.

What You Bring

  • End-to-end payroll processing experience (in-house or with a payroll service provider).
  • Knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Proficiency in software tools like Excel / Google Suite.
  • An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
  • A proactive approach to improving and speeding up work processes.
  • Understanding and preference for asynchronous work.
  • Fluent English communication (written and spoken).
  • Previous remote work experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned countries.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
  • Process full end-to-end payroll, including statutory filing, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance.
  • Ensure full data integrity and quality.
  • Perform payroll journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Focus on achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Implement and improve payroll processes.
  • Mentor and support other payroll specialists.
  • Provide backup support to regional managers during absences.
