About The Role: Product Manager – Climate Services

We are seeking a Product Manager to enhance the capabilities of our Climate Services offering, focusing on scalability and performance. You will be responsible for creating and championing the Climate Services roadmap, working collaboratively with Sales, Business, Operations, Marketing, and Development teams. Your goal will be to best integrate Climate Services into all other B2B platforms, ensuring our clients have the most actionable climate projections available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for climate-related products, supporting the development of next-generation technologies and services.
  • Establish and manage scientific goals through rapid prototyping and development in a cloud-based environment.
  • Conduct research on the Climate Services competitive landscape, analyzing data, platform capabilities, and pricing.
  • Create and manage the roadmap for new features and releases within Climate Services.
  • Collaborate with the Design team to implement best practices in UX/UI for client-facing outputs.
  • Define the strategy for integrating Climate Services into AccuWeather’s broader B2B product ecosystem.
  • Support Sales and Business teams in developing the pricing strategy for Climate Services.
  • Participate in client meetings, representing the product team and providing insights on Climate Services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Atmospheric Science, Computer Science, or a similar, relevant field. Significant work experience with weather-related products may be considered in lieu of a specific degree.
  • Expertise in ingesting, manipulating, and analyzing weather datasets.
  • Experience supporting the creation and/or maintenance of weather-related products.
  • Experience with climate-related products is a strong differentiator.
  • An innovative mindset with a desire to work on diverse projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enjoyment of team collaboration, including daily stand-ups and brainstorming sessions.
