Your Mission

As the dependable engine of the operations team, your mission is to ensure orders flow smoothly. You will identify and resolve issues with stuck or missing orders, respond to seller and operational queries, conduct operational checks, and contribute to building AI skills and automations to streamline repetitive tasks. You will gain end-to-end understanding of the order journey and develop the ability to independently problem-solve within months.

Core Pillars

• Keep the flow clean: Conduct daily cross-system checks, identify and resolve orders that are missing, stuck, or mismatched, or escalate them as needed.
• Support sellers & partners: Respond to operational tickets, run checkers, and accurately create and send invoices on time.
• Learn to build: Utilize Claude to develop skills and automations that eliminate repetitive work, starting with a recruitment exercise and expanding from there.
• Improve as you go: Drive incremental enhancements to the tools and processes you interact with daily.

What You'll Achieve In Your First 90 Days

• Reliably execute daily cross-system reconciliation and clear order exceptions from your queue.
• Respond to operational tickets within SLA and independently operate Bezos checkers.
• Build your first functional Claude skill or small automation to save the team time.
• Deliver clean, on-time work on a team project and begin handling open-ended tasks with minimal supervision.

Requirements

What we're looking for (non-negotiables)

• Numerate & analytical: A degree (or equivalent demonstrated experience) in a quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering, maths, physics, CS) or a highly numerate field (economics, finance, quant-social-science). Comfortable working with raw data and spreadsheets.
• AI-native: Proficient in building with AI, not just conversing. You use Claude/AI in your daily work and can build a simple, working Claude skill. Demonstration of building a skill in the recruitment exercise is required; prior experience is a strong plus.
• Reliable & coachable: Consistently delivers assigned tasks on time with high-quality work. Asks questions when uncertain rather than guessing, and receives feedback well.
• Picks things up fast: Quickly learns new tools and processes, becoming productive without a lengthy ramp-up period.
• Energised by startups: Excited by ambiguity, pace, and ownership; desires a broad scope of work.
• Clear communicator: Writes clearly, presents findings concisely, and flags issues proactively.

Nice-to-haves

• Internships or part-time work experience in consulting, banking, operations, analytics, e-commerce, or startups.
• Basic coding skills (Python/SQL) or experience with no-code tools (Make, Zapier, Retool, Airtable).
• Prior experience building a Claude skill, agent, or automation.
