For our location in Weil am Rhein, we are looking for a Product Owner (m/f/d) for the ERP division.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the functional further development of a business domain within our ERP landscape. You will structure and prioritize requirements, design future business processes, and work closely with business departments and IT. You will ensure that solutions are implemented sustainably, scalable, and in line with our target architecture.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the functional further development of the ERP landscape within a business domain such as Finance, Supply Chain, Product, or Sales.
  • You will structure, prioritize, and manage requirements based on business value and strategic relevance.
  • You will translate business requirements into systemic IT requirements and actively question them.
  • Together with the business departments, you will analyze existing business processes and develop sustainable and scalable target processes.
  • You will build and continuously maintain a structured backlog for your domain.
  • As a central interface between business and IT, you will work closely with business departments, IT, and relevant stakeholders.
  • You will actively shape the introduction of our future ERP landscape within the framework of an international Greenfield project and will be responsible for defining and implementing target processes within your domain.
  • You will prepare requirements and changes in a structured manner and present them in the change and decision-making process.
  • In close coordination with architecture and implementation teams, you will coordinate requirements to ensure scalable and sustainable solutions in line with the target architecture.

Requirements

  • Initial practical experience with ERP systems or other business applications is an advantage.
  • Structured and analytical working method, as well as the ability to present complex topics understandably.
  • Understanding of end-to-end processes in at least one of the areas Finance, Supply Chain, Product Management, or Sales.
  • Experience in gathering, structuring, and prioritizing functional requirements.
  • Experience in ERP, business application, or digitalization projects is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, interfaces, and data flows.
  • Experience with methods and tools for requirements management and documentation is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with different teams.
  • Very good English and German language skills for effective communication with international colleagues.
