Director of Client Service Delivery
About the Role
As the Director of Client Service Delivery, you will provide strategic leadership for client-facing operations across key health system relationships. Your primary responsibilities include cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, driving client satisfaction, and optimizing service delivery processes to ensure the highest standards of excellence. You will be accountable for overall service delivery performance, relationship health, and the achievement of client and R1 business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with client Service Delivery teams and other internal functions.
- Assist in managing key client counterparts, including continuous communication of revenue cycle performance.
- Design and develop regular and ad-hoc presentations for client executives, highlighting pertinent updates related to client needs.
- Execute the R1 strategy by translating everyday learnings into best practices, optimizing performance, and leading transformation initiatives.
- Conduct necessary analytics to communicate overall performance and specific subject matter areas to clients.
- Work in tandem with the internal R1 customer operations team to align operational objectives, understand performance levels, and identify and develop remediation plans for risks.
- Support the execution of action plans to improve operational and metric performance, leveraging pre-identified drivers, risks, and barriers.
- Support R1 functional leaders in making decisions regarding daily operations within assigned hospitals.
- Assist in projects aimed at improving operational performance metrics.
- Develop standardized templates for analysis and client presentations that can be leveraged across R1 clients.
- Mentor and guide managers and analysts to build scalable self-monitoring processes, deliver proactive insights, and report on outcomes.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education Level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience Level
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Extensive experience in Revenue Cycle Management or Epic consulting.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Pay Range: $117,000.00 - $194,847.37 per year (US-based). Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
- Annual Bonus Plan: Eligible to participate at a target of 20.00%.
