About the Opportunity

Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, and Seabourn are seeking a dedicated Air Customer Service Agent, After Hours, to join their experienced team. This is a home-based position crucial for providing essential travel services outside of standard business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Process urgent air travel arrangements for shipboard officers, crew, guest entertainers, vendors, contractors, and shoreside employees, especially during travel disruptions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support to cruise guests facing travel plan disruptions or requiring immediate flight assistance.
  • Administer hotel and ground transportation arrangements, including creating and communicating rooming lists and transportation manifests.
  • Respond to phone calls and monitor emails for shoreside travelers needing urgent assistance outside business hours.
  • Identify optimal flight options based on price, convenience, and comfort, and issue air tickets.
  • Provide cross-functional support to the Company Travel team as needed.
  • Adhere to all Company and department-specific policies and procedures.
  • Perform any additional work-related duties assigned by supervisors or managers.

Requirements

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with travel suppliers, port agents, crew members, employees, and management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a travel agency, airline, or wholesale travel agency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes/Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and think quickly under pressure.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Sabre airline reservations system, including booking, ticketing, exchanges, pricing, routing, and queue processing.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends (shifts between 6 PM - 6 AM M-F, and 5 PM - 6 AM S-S).
  • Must be available for an initial 4-6 week paid training period.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship for employment visas is not available.

This position is 100% fully remote, US Only. Please note that Princess Cruise Lines is unable to hire in the following states: AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, HI, IA, KY, LA, ME, MS, MT, ND, NE, NV, NY, SD, VT, WA, WV, WY.

Compensation

  • Base Hourly Range: $16.35 to $22.07. The final salary will be determined by qualifications and experience.
