Responsibilities

  • Assume account ownership and serve as the lead point of contact for all business matters relating to the client's business units.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key client stakeholders and executive sponsors across Safety, Procurement, Finance/Risk, Compliance, and Legal functions.
  • Ensure a high level of satisfaction with Avetta's solutions and services in collaboration with Implementation, Solution Engineering, Program Management, and Client Success teams.
  • Create and document a strategic account plan and execute against its identified goals.
  • Perform remote and onsite client business reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement and managing subsequent engagements.
  • Coordinate with Solution Engineers to demonstrate products and features for current and expansion opportunities.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within assigned clients and collaborate with other teams to ensure growth attainment.
  • Escalate top client issues and assist in developing action plans.
  • Adhere to all sales processes, including accurate and timely data updates.
  • Track and own account management metrics, client satisfaction, sales plays, client reviews, reference status, and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
  • Achieve assigned sales quotas (net new cash billings) monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Provide regular updates on ongoing progress to Avetta cross-functional teams and executives.
  • Conduct at least quarterly business reviews with each assigned client.
  • Prevent churn by ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain current account plans.

Requirements

  • Accountable for results and deliverables, able to work independently and proactively.
  • Proven success in previous Account Management roles.
  • Minimum of five years of Account Management experience in enterprise SaaS software and/or complex sales structures.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Safety, ESG, or Procurement is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or comparable experience and qualifications.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to put in the hours required to execute job responsibilities.
  • Consultative/Challenger approach to Account Management.
  • Highly organized and structured approach to managing priorities, projects, and customer relationships.
  • Regular travel to client sites within the assigned territory and key accounts is required. Travel is also required for sales events, conferences, and other client-facing engagements.
