Strategic Development & Business Analyst (Energy Management Startup)

We are an agile, green startup specializing in energy management and visualization software, dedicated to shaping a sustainable, climate-neutral future. Our mission is to simplify energy consumption management with intuitive, AI-driven software for everyone. As part of the Hausheld group since 2025, we are building Germany's first full-service platform for smart metering.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Development by identifying current trends and evaluating them for potential new business models and future strategic alignment.
• Work directly with the CEO on the strategic development of the company and software products.
• Independently develop, evaluate, and analyze use cases, including their impact on the existing business model.
• Conduct independent analyses of market and competitor developments in the energy sector and present findings directly to the CEO.
• Act as the interface between Product Management, Finance, and Sales.
• Manage correspondence with investors, maintain documents, and control the financing round process, qualifying and analyzing investors and markets in preparation for investor meetings.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student in Energy Management, Business, Communications, or a comparable field of study.
• Previous practical experience in strategy or business development through internships (e.g., at a management consultancy or a strategic department of a corporation or startup) is ideal.
• Analytical thinking, systematic, and goal-oriented working style.
• Comfortable contacting external parties and investors by phone.
• Talent for organization with a high degree of proactivity, initiative, and ambition; ability to quickly apply acquired knowledge in practice.
• Very good German and English language skills and proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
• This is a student position.
