This role supports the CleanPowerSF Data and Reporting team, focusing on customer programs and services to achieve CleanPowerSF's goals, including service affordability, local investment, and equitable access to clean energy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis and assist in the development of studies, project plans, and performance reports related to customer programs or project development.
  • Compile, analyze, and summarize data, and prepare project evaluation and progress reports.
  • Evaluate and document customer program/project results, including energy saved and generated.
  • Coordinate with other Power Enterprise groups, PUC divisions, and City and County of San Francisco departments to develop and operate new customer programs for CleanPowerSF customers.
  • Monitor program costs, generate cost/benefit analyses, and perform rate of return calculations.
  • Develop and implement professional services contracts and support the management of third-party consultants.
  • Support the preparation of program budgets, including long-term capital plans.
  • Support training for call center staff on customer program offerings.
  • Prepare memos, draft presentations, talking points, and responses to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support and/or deliver presentations to stakeholders, PUC management, and governing bodies.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory compliance and related reporting to local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with major coursework in Law, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Natural Resources, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or another field related to the utility business. Qualifying experience may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • Intermediate to advanced expertise in MS Excel is desirable.
  • Experience in geographic information system (GIS) and statistical analysis software applications is desirable.
  • Must meet minimum qualifications by the final filing date.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
