We develop innovative solutions for our clients across various industries and explore new, future-oriented fields. We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team in Hanover. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and optimizing data infrastructure for exciting client projects. You will be responsible for end-to-end data pipelines, from extraction to transformation and delivery, focusing on efficiency, quality, and automation. We need someone analytical, organized, and passionate about digital content, search optimization, and growth, who enjoys optimizing performance through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Create Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for clients.
• Manage the end-to-end data pipeline, orchestrating the entire data lifecycle from extraction, transformation, to provisioning, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and automation.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, integrate, and transform raw data from various sources.
• Design and implement data models for Data Warehouses (DWH), ensuring efficient and meaningful data structuring and adherence to security standards.
• Automate processes and workflows to accelerate data delivery and minimize errors.
• Conduct necessary workshops and training sessions for clients, sharing expertise in data modeling.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients after project completion.

Requirements

• Completed studies in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable degree/training, with several years of relevant experience.
• Ideally, professional experience in data architecture and working with databases, with knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.
• Good programming skills in languages such as Python or SQL.
• High technical affinity and openness to new topics and software solutions.
• Confident communication skills in German with clients.
• English language skills required in a technical context.
