Exaris Solutions conducts targeted research on behalf of its clients in the healthcare and life sciences sectors to gain important insights for healthcare professionals (HCPs). This innovative project utilizes state-of-the-art AI from our core product, "Vertical Search Health," to extract significant attributes and characteristics of the relevant target group, analyze them carefully, and seamlessly integrate them into existing CRM data.

Responsibilities

• Data Preparation: Cleaning and optimizing master data
• Data Engineering: Extracting and analyzing data from various sources (CSV, XML, SQL)
• Application of the AI Tech Stack: Iterative application of Python, pyTorch, and AWS (Sagemaker) from our core solution "Vertical Search Health" and utilization of LLMs
• Structuring Datasets: Transferring into table structures (SQL/Snowflake)
• Research on Industry and Business Topics: Independent exploration in the healthcare sector, e.g., the inpatient sector
• Data Quality Checks: Performing various checks (plausibility, integrity, etc.) and creating final deliverables
• Testing and Development: Creating test cases for frontend (Angular) and backend (Python) and prospective development of the stack
• Business Analysis: Evaluation and analysis of extracted data for well-founded insights

Requirements

• Excellent Python, SQL, and Excel skills
• Experience in AWS with services such as Bedrock, Sagemaker, and/or Lambda is preferred
• Very good knowledge in the AI/ML Ops area, especially application of language models (LLMs) and NLP
• Strong affinity for data and data structures
• Independent thinking and working style, as well as contributing own ideas and suggestions
• Experience in processing master data or customer master data
• Very good knowledge of IT infrastructures and databases, preferably in Snowflake
• Project experience in data science and/or data engineering projects with end-customer contact
• Fluent German language skills (C2 or native speaker)
• Willingness to regularly work in person with the project team in Essen
• Basic knowledge of the German healthcare system, particularly regarding the structures of medical practices and other service providers and therapists such as hospitals, pharmacies, nursing homes, etc., is desirable
