Responsibilities

  • Develop business partnerships with key accounts and coordinate sales and training regionally.
  • Drive National Account sales for Continental Tire North America (CTNA) products and assist in dealer sell-out.
  • Conduct sales calls, document activities in CRM, and utilize Continental's products and tools (Truck Tire, Conti Retread Solutions, Digital Solutions, Salesforce, ContiTrack2, ContiAdvantage).
  • Retain and grow existing accounts, solicit new business, and execute the sales strategy.
  • Effectively manage the territory through prioritization and efficiency to meet corporate and individual objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a territory coverage plan, including account and opportunity planning.
  • Develop and maintain sales activity at key regional fleets (national account and dealer controlled).
  • Achieve assigned sales targets in the region and accounts.
  • Function as an account manager for assigned target dealers.
  • Participate in sales meetings, product training, and new account development.
  • Identify opportunities for new product lines and assist in developing product strategy per key account.
  • Assist Sales Manager in developing programs and concepts to achieve sales and profit objectives, monitoring progress and aiding customers with corrective action plans.
  • Develop and provide training for company and dealer personnel on product, selling, and inventory management.
  • Conduct market intelligence to ensure sell-out pricing, analyze market trends, competitive products, pricing, promotions, and assist in monthly article forecasting.
  • Assist in coordinating, monitoring, and managing inventory and production planning to meet forecasts.
  • Manage and resolve operational and administrative issues with key accounts.
  • Respond to inquiries, prepare weekly itineraries and expense reports, and prepare routine and special reports.
  • Utilize Salesforce for documenting sales activities.

Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree AND 3+ years of related professional experience, OR a minimum of 6 years of relevant sales experience if no relevant Bachelor’s degree.
  • Fluent in English and French languages.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in Sales and Marketing activities, including using sales tools, identifying needs/opportunities, and presenting solutions.
  • Functional knowledge of Sales principles, practices, and standard methodologies, coupled with knowledge of standard Marketing programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Programs (templates, tables, charts, formatting functions).
  • Knowledge of various special Sales and Marketing programs to assist management.
  • Effective oral communication skills to present ideas to various audiences.
  • Ability to lift truck tires.
  • Travel required.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport required.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada required.

Additional Skills: Truck Tire industry experience, outside sales experience.
Location: Territory includes Montreal and Ottawa areas. Candidates must be located within the Territory. Work from home office.
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 starting salary, plus sales bonus, depending on experience level.
