Think3DDD is an innovative startup based in Berlin-Adlershof, developing software solutions in the fields of 3D scanning, 3D printing, and medical technology. We are looking for engaged interns to join our team and contribute to real systems, from APIs and data pipelines to the integration of intelligent models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance backend functionalities using Python (e.g., APIs, services, data processing).
• Build, document, and maintain interfaces (e.g., REST APIs).
• Integrate data processing and analysis pipelines in a medical technology context.
• Collaborate on AI-powered components, such as data preparation, model integration, or optimization of existing models.
• Work with frontend, design, and product teams to implement features cleanly.
• Advance existing algorithms (e.g., segmentation, classification, or optimization).
• Opportunity for Bachelor's or Master's thesis completion during or after the internship.

Requirements

• Enrolled student in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Medical Technology, Computational Engineering, or a comparable discipline with a focus on software development, data, or AI.
• Good knowledge of Python.
• Basic understanding of backend architectures and APIs (e.g., REST).
• Interest in AI, Machine Learning, or data processing (experience is a plus, but not a requirement).
• Ideally, initial exposure to frameworks or libraries like FastAPI, Flask, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, or scikit-image.
• Structured working style, teamwork skills, and eagerness to learn.
• Good German or English language skills.
• No AI expertise is required; the key is an interest in working with real systems.
• This is an unpaid mandatory internship for students requiring one, or for those pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's thesis, or seeking practical experience on a voluntary basis.
