Toolramp is building the AI operating system for UK trades businesses, helping repair, maintenance, and home service companies win more jobs, reduce admin, manage bookings, send quotes and invoices, take payments, and run their business more professionally. We are a young, fast-moving startup with a practical mission to make modern software simple, useful, and accessible for trades companies. We are looking for a hands-on Working Student Online Marketing to support our growth across performance marketing, social media, content, and campaign reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the setup, monitoring, and optimization of PPC campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Assist with keyword research, competitor research, ad copy drafts, campaign checks, and performance tracking.
  • Support paid and organic social media activity across Meta platforms, especially Instagram and Facebook.
  • Help create and adapt short-form marketing copy for ads, landing pages, social posts, and campaign tests.
  • Review campaign performance and help prepare simple weekly updates on key metrics.
  • Support the testing of new messages, offers, landing pages, creatives, and audiences for UK trades businesses.
  • Help improve the connection between paid campaigns, website journeys, sign-up flows, and follow-up processes.
  • Contribute ideas for new campaigns, content angles, creative tests, and ways to reach trades businesses more effectively.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a student, ideally in marketing, business, communications, media, economics, or a related field.
  • Some practical marketing experience (internship, student job, freelance, university project, or own online activity).
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing channels (Google Ads, paid social, SEO, content marketing, social media marketing).
  • Interest in PPC, performance marketing, social media, and startup growth.
  • Comfortable working with data and understanding basic marketing metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, conversion rate, lead quality).
  • Ability to write clear, simple, and effective short-form copy in English.
  • Hands-on, reliable, structured, and willing to take responsibility for work.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and learning new platforms quickly.
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
  • Based in or near Munich, with the ability to work from the office at least one day per week.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Webflow, Canva, Figma, Hotjar, PostHog, or similar tools.
  • Experience or interest in SaaS, startups, trades, construction, home services, or SME-focused products.
  • German language skills are helpful, but not required.
