Responsibilities

• Product Ownership: Collaborate on, build, and lead key components of Raya's backend services.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers and data scientists, to ensure comprehensive and user-focused solutions.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest in Raya’s tech ecosystem, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and innovative.
• User-Centric Development: Prioritize and advocate for top-tier user experiences, using feedback loops and data-driven methodologies to define and refine product features.
• Operational Excellence: Navigate the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), integrating agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and Raya’s best practices into all development phases.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in modern software development environments, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and maintainable systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in system design, architecture, and mastery in Golang.
• Proven experience in building and scaling backend systems in production within a startup or fast-moving environment.
• Experience with production recommendation systems and/or machine learning model deployment/integration.
• Enthusiasm for new AI tools and frameworks, with a willingness to quickly adopt emerging best practices.

Compensation

$180,000 - $240,000 per year
