Position Summary:
We are looking for experienced, passionate, and resourceful mid-level Backend Engineers to join our backend teams. In this hybrid role, based out of our Bengaluru office (2 days/week in-office), you will collaborate cross-functionally to design and develop our backend services.

What You'll Do:

• Design and implement robust features for our high-scale platform.
• Drive the implementation of new features by breaking down complex problems into elegant designs and writing high-quality, maintainable code.
• Create and maintain test automation to ensure continuous integration and development velocity.
• Design and deliver well-crafted REST APIs for communication between client applications and backend services.
• Leverage a broad skill set and contribute to the adoption of new technologies.
• Participate in design and implementation evaluations to foster continuous improvement.
• Debug production issues across our services infrastructure and various stack layers.
• Contribute to the design and development of distributed systems and services with a focus on high-quality code.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C#, Kotlin, Java, Python, Go, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with various databases (DynamoDB, MySQL, ElasticSearch) and data pipeline technologies.
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools.
• Proven experience in developing and executing functional and integration tests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a bias towards action and results.
• Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and event-driven architecture is a strong plus.
• Experience in payments/fintech is a plus.
