Your Role

As a Werkstudent (m/f/d) in Press & Communications, you will support our team in all aspects of local and global press work.

Responsibilities

• Research & Documentation: Conduct structured background research on relevant topics and prepare findings clearly.
• Network Maintenance: Support the active maintenance and targeted expansion of our journalist network.
• Content Creation: Write concise press texts and tailor media pitches.
• Media Monitoring: Track media coverage, analyze publications, and create insightful reports.
• Format Development: Actively participate in the conception and implementation of target-group-specific media formats.
• Event Support: Provide organizational support for important media appointments and press events.
• Internal Communication: Assist with the design and implementation of internal communication measures.

Your Profile

• Academic Background & Availability: Currently enrolled in at least your second semester at a German university in Humanities (or a comparable field). Available to support 15-20 hours per week, and up to 40 hours per week during semester breaks. Available immediately.
• Practical Experience: Relevant experience in PR & Communications, ideally in a dynamic startup or agency environment.
• Focus: Passion for PR, seeking long-term career development in this field, not just any job.
• Media Savvy: Familiarity with the German media landscape, including relevant channels, formats, and trends.
• Industry Interest: Ideally, possess prior knowledge or a strong interest in the energy sector and its current topics.
• Personality: Outgoing, creative thinker with a keen eye for detail. Quick learner, even under pressure.
