About the Role

Join NBCUniversal's One Platform Ad Sales organization as a Programmatic Account Manager. This strategic role acts as a partner to Clients & Sales Account Executives, responsible for managing and growing NBCU’s partnerships with Advertisers to enable them to reach their business objectives. You will play a key part in ensuring campaign success and communicating key campaign learnings to better support our clients.

As a Programmatic Account Manager, you will:

  • Support the full sales cycle, from proposals through execution for programmatic campaigns.
  • Manage and develop client relationships.
  • Proactively identify strategic approaches for new or incremental opportunities, including upselling products and services.
  • Contribute to revenue, advertiser education, and advertiser satisfaction through establishing and building trusted client relationships.
  • Deliver a best-in-class partnership experience for NBCU advertising clients and their campaigns.
  • Maintain a high standard of operational excellence while executing effective, performance-driven campaigns.
  • Align closely with other client services team members and cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and manage relationships with existing and potential new clients and agencies through routine communication; actively grow industry relationships to gain marketplace intelligence.
  • Work synergistically with internal teams (Sales, Client Teams, Streaming & Data Products, Content Partnerships, Planning, Marketing, Research, Ops, etc.).
  • Support day-to-day client deliverables across the pre-sale and post-sale lifespan of PG and PMP campaigns. Lead communication for all internal deliverables related to client and sales support.
  • Troubleshoot and support any technical or creative issues related to bid requests, win rates, optimization levers, audience targeting, pricing, and fees, ensuring smooth campaign execution.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal cross-functional teams and DSP and SSP partners.
  • Work with internal cross-functional teams including Pricing, Inventory, Ad Ops, and Measurement to ensure successful campaign executions and troubleshoot client issues.
  • Analyze data to understand trends, clearly communicate the “why” behind results, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to internal and external partners.
  • Develop campaign strategies and audience targeting recommendations that align directly with client and campaign KPIs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NBCU features and audience trends, serving as an external product expert, educating clients on new and existing ad solutions and advising on best practices.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of programmatic experience at a media company or agency.
  • Experience contributing to revenue, advertiser education, and advertiser satisfaction.
  • Hands-on experience in SSPs and/or DSPs.
  • Passion for data, process, customer success, and working cross-functionally with stakeholders.
  • Ability to foster strong internal and external relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills; experienced presenter and negotiator.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Deadline-driven and process-oriented personality, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing business.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Hybrid: This position is designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
