Analytics Engineer

Job Summary:

As an Analytics Engineer, you will work independently on assigned projects, collaborating with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to build, maintain, and improve our data infrastructure and analytics pipelines. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our compliance management technology, enabling us to better serve clients and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines for ETL processes.
• Design, build, and optimize data models to support analytical needs and reporting.
• Collaborate with data scientists on implementing and deploying machine learning models.
• Monitor data quality and resolve data integrity issues.
• Contribute to data documentation and metadata management.
• Translate stakeholder data needs into technical requirements.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing new data technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards.
• Independently manage tasks and projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process and system improvements.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and data warehousing services (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Familiarity with data testing frameworks.
• Experience with ETL tools and techniques (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt).
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and data warehouse architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java).
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in using Git for version control.
