The Role:
We are looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to define and enhance Nabu Casa's online presence. This is a hands-on, execution-focused position where you will be responsible for planning and executing campaigns, expanding our organic reach, and optimizing paid media spend. You will collaborate closely with the Product Marketing Manager, taking initiative to drive the marketing agenda. Our audience is technically sophisticated and deeply engaged with the community, requiring a marketing approach that respects their intelligence.

What You Will Do:

  • Own the performance of Nabu Casa's digital channels (website, email, SEO, paid, social) with clear targets for reach, conversion, and subscriber growth.
  • Plan and execute end-to-end digital campaigns, from concept to post-campaign analysis, aligned with product launches and commercial objectives.
  • Develop and enhance our organic search presence through content strategy and on-site SEO, aiming to reduce reliance on paid traffic.
  • Manage email marketing for Nabu Casa Cloud subscribers, including lifecycle flows, release announcements, and re-engagement campaigns, while tracking key metrics.
  • Oversee paid digital spend and ROI across various channels, rigorously allocating and optimizing the budget.
  • Report weekly on digital performance, providing clear recommendations for prioritization.
  • Grow and engage Nabu Casa's presence within relevant communities, including Home Assistant forums, Reddit, YouTube, and other open-source and smart home spaces.
  • Experiment with new growth levers such as affiliate, referral, and influencer marketing through structured testing and documented learnings.

What You Need to Have:

  • Proven hands-on experience managing digital channels (SEO, email, paid social/search, content) with direct performance metrics.
  • Fluency in analytics, including dashboard creation, funnel data interpretation, and distinguishing signal from noise without relying on a dedicated data team.
  • Strong copywriting skills for digital contexts, capable of engaging a technically literate audience respectfully.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, or equivalent).
  • High level of autonomy and initiative; ability to identify next steps without constant direction.

Great to Have:

  • Experience marketing technical, developer-adjacent, or open-source products.
  • Familiarity with the Home Assistant ecosystem or the broader smart home space.
  • Experience working in a small, remote-first team with end-to-end functional ownership.

What We Offer:
Nabu Casa is a fully remote organization employing individuals globally. You will be a salaried employee in your country of residence. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with no fixed schedule, though we encourage at least 3 hours of overlap for team communication. You will report to the VP Commercial, based in Norway. Compensation:
Nabu Casa aims to offer a total compensation package matching the 75th percentile for the role, seniority, and local market rates. Approximate yearly compensation in primary operating countries:

  • Spain: €73,000
  • Portugal: €64,700
  • Italy: €67,100
  • UK: £81,400
  • Greece: €58,400
  • Hungary: 25,700,000 HUF
  • Poland: 370,000 PLN
  • Romania: 444,000 RON
  • Other countries: Compensation negotiable during the first interview.

Figures are approximate and may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, and work hours.
