Digital Marketing Manager - Nabu Casa

About the Role
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you will own Nabu Casa's online presence. You will plan and execute campaigns, grow our organic reach, and optimize paid advertising spend. Working closely with the Product Marketing Manager, you will drive the digital marketing agenda for a technically sophisticated and community-rooted audience.
Responsibilities
- Own the performance of Nabu Casa's digital channels (website, email, SEO, paid, social) with clear targets for reach, conversion, and subscriber growth.
- Plan and execute digital campaigns end-to-end, from brief to post-campaign analysis, aligning with product launches and commercial priorities.
- Build and improve organic search presence through content strategy and on-site SEO.
- Manage email marketing for Nabu Casa Cloud subscribers, including lifecycle flows, release announcements, and re-engagement.
- Own paid digital spend and ROI across channels, allocating and optimizing the budget.
- Report on digital performance weekly and provide strategic recommendations.
- Grow and engage Nabu Casa's presence in relevant communities (Home Assistant forums, Reddit, YouTube, open-source and smart home spaces).
- Test new growth levers (affiliate, referral, influencer) through structured experiments.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience running digital channels (SEO, email, paid social/search, content) with owned performance metrics.
- Fluency in analytics: ability to build dashboards, interpret funnel data, and distinguish signal from noise.
- Strong copywriting skills for a technically literate audience.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tooling (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot).
- High degree of autonomy and initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience marketing technical, developer-adjacent, or open-source products.
- Familiarity with the Home Assistant ecosystem or smart home space.
- Experience working in a small, remote-first team.
