The Holding company serves as a service provider for the group, handling administrative tasks, developing strategic visions, providing advertising and consulting support, creating concepts and products, and organizing training. We are seeking a Junior Data Consultant (m/f/d) to join our Holding team in Lübeck or Cologne. This is a permanent, full-time (38h/week) position.
Your Responsibilities
You will create data-based decision-making foundations for our corporate group, which includes:
- Creating and further developing dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense.
- Collaborating closely with business departments to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Supporting the integration and preparation of data from systems such as AMS (Assfinet) and DATEV.
- Contributing to the development of structured and performant data models (e.g., clear KPI logic, avoiding redundancies).
- Automating recurring processes (data loading, reporting, report distribution, write-back solutions).
- Actively contributing to the design and evolution of our BI landscape.
Your Qualifications
- University degree in Business Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a comparable field (or a relevant vocational training with further education in data/BI).
- Ideally, professional experience in the insurance sector, controlling, or business intelligence.
- Analytical thinking and a structured approach to data.
- Open communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- Basic business management knowledge and proficiency in Office 365.
- Experience with Business Intelligence software (e.g., Qlik Sense, Power BI, Jedox) and databases is desirable.
- Interest in the further development of BI solutions and innovations in data analysis.
