Manager, Marketing Operations – NAM

Company: Arc'teryx
Location: North Vancouver, BC (Hybrid Remote)
Salary: CAD$108,000 - CAD$142,000

About the Role

The Manager, Marketing Operations is the operational backbone of Arc'teryx North America Marketing. This role is crucial for establishing the go-to-market (GTM) operating rhythm and building the systems, processes, and performance discipline necessary for world-class, brand marketing at scale. You will create clarity and visibility across teams regarding launches, timelines, channels, and dependencies, ensuring coordinated, predictable, and high-quality execution. Partnering with Brand, Creative, Digital, Retail, E-commerce, Product, and Global teams, you will ensure campaigns launch smoothly, data is accurate, workflows are efficient, and marketing investments are transparent and measurable. You will bring structure without hindering momentum, fostering shared understanding of work progression, decision-making, tool utilization, and results interpretation.

Meet Your Future Team

This role sits within the Regional North America Brand Marketing team, working closely with NAM Brand Leadership and alongside the Brand Marketing operational and strategic team. You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional partners across the organization.

Core Activities

  • Maintain and evolve the integrated GTM calendar, driving weekly/bi-weekly cadence meetings, aligning launches and investments across channels, and proactively identifying risks/dependencies.
  • Evolve GTM from calendar management into an integrated planning system, including capacity planning, prioritization frameworks, launch tiering, and managing resource tradeoffs.
  • Build and manage end-to-end campaign workflows, ensuring realistic timelines, clean handoffs, and clear understanding of processes, targets, and success metrics for all teams.
  • Establish clear ways of working with Creative, Brand, Digital, Retail, E-Comm, and Product teams, defining roles, decision points, and completion criteria.
  • Define KPI standards, ensure tracking hygiene, and deliver consistent reporting to support decision-making.
  • Maintain operational excellence in budget tracking, forecasting investment needs, and coordinating agency/vendor activities related to campaign delivery.
  • Mentor and develop team members, enhancing planning discipline and delivery quality.
  • Lead through calm, credible influence, driving alignment and decisions without relying on positional authority.

Future Opportunities

  • Create scalable playbooks for seasonal moments and product drops, ensuring consistency in execution across teams and time.
  • Implement standards (intake criteria, SLAs, decision rights, escalation paths) to reduce chaos while maintaining team agility.
  • Deepen alignment with Global Marketing, Regional partners, and Commercial teams for coordinated, adaptable, and brand-consistent North America execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of operations experience in marketing, creative, or brand operations (agency and/or in-house).
  • Proven experience delivering multi-channel campaigns in complex, product-based organizations.
  • Experience managing budgets, resources, and schedules to support on-time delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing operations fundamentals: intake, prioritization, campaign planning, cross-functional coordination, and launch readiness.
  • Comfort working with marketing workflows and enabling tools (e.g., Monday.com or similar) for visibility, accountability, and on-time delivery.
  • Skilled in workflow design, troubleshooting, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Practical understanding of end-to-end marketing processes across channels and teams.
  • Familiarity with creative and production workflows (digital, print, photo, video) and planning around timelines, approvals, and dependencies.
  • Ability to translate strategy into executable plans within timeline and resourcing constraints.
  • Effective working style with creative organizations, balancing speed, clarity, and standards.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative, resilient, solutions-oriented leadership style.
  • Committed to high standards and finding the best solutions.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: CAD$108,000 - CAD$142,000
