Senior Python Engineer

Client: A worldwide frontrunner in identity security.
Location: Fully Remote or Lviv/Kyiv offices

About the Role:
Join our client, a leader in identity security, as a Senior Python Engineer. You will leverage AWS serverless architecture, AWS CDK, and Python to design, develop, test, secure, and deploy services from planning to production. This role involves close collaboration with security architects, product managers, and other development teams to deliver secure and high-quality solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver end-to-end features and enhancements with the highest quality and security standards.
• Practice full software development lifecycle in an agile environment.
• Research and implement sophisticated cybersecurity mechanisms.
• Explore new technologies and tools to maintain cutting-edge solutions.
• Contribute to feature design and implementation to advance the product.
• Participate in continuous engineering cycles focused on code quality, supportability, scalability, and performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in Python development.
• A desire to use and understand new technologies deeply.
• Passion for code design and high-quality code.
• Proactive nature with an internal drive for excellence and improvement.
• Good communication skills, fluent in English, with strong writing abilities.
• Autodidactic with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in enterprise-scale application development in a cloud/SaaS environment (AWS serverless architecture is a definite advantage).
• Experience with AWS/CDK/Python.
• Solid understanding of security and networking implementation best practices.
• Experience with microservice/event-oriented design and development.
• Experience with modern CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory).

Work Schedule:
Full-time, fully remote or from our offices in Lviv and Kyiv.
