Period: Approximately 3-6 months, starting immediately
Compensation: €800 / month

The Topic: Bachelor's Thesis

'Concept for a Modern Works Agreement Based on Empirical Benchmark and Employee Study: Replacement of a Federal Assembly Tariff Agreement and Revision of the Assignment Policy.'

Department: Human Resources / Personnel Management

Your Tasks:

As part of your Bachelor's thesis, you will support us in modernizing our compensation and assignment regulations:

  • Analysis: Examine the existing Federal Assembly Tariff Agreement (BMTV) and the assignment policy regarding structure, content, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Research and Benchmarking: Research market-standard compensation and assignment models for assembly and service employees (analyze studies, tariff agreements, works agreements, industry reports).
  • Conception and Execution: Design and conduct an employee survey within the target group.
  • Results Preparation: Prepare findings in presentation format as a basis for management decisions.
  • Conceptual Development: Develop a conceptual proposal for:
  • A new, modern works agreement to replace the BMTV and associated works agreements/internal regulations.
  • An updated assignment policy considering current legal frameworks.

You will receive expert guidance from an experienced HR team throughout the entire period.

Qualifications:

  • Studies in Business Administration, Business Psychology, Law, Business Law, Human Resource Management, or a comparable field.
  • Interest in labor law, tariff law, works constitution law, and modern compensation design.
  • Initial knowledge of empirical methods (especially questionnaire design and basic statistics) is desirable.
  • Analytical and structured approach to work, high reliability, and diligence.
  • Enjoy working with data and preparing complex content for various target groups (management, HR, works council, employees).
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with different stakeholders.
  • Very good written and spoken German skills and good English skills.
  • Proficient use of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
