About the Role
This is a delivery-focused affiliate marketing role that combines hands-on campaign management with relationship building, performance analysis, and strategic growth. You will support the Affiliate Manager across all affiliate operations, manage day-to-day partner engagement, and help build the infrastructure and partnerships for long-term channel growth. Success is defined by a well-managed, growing affiliate portfolio, consistent performance against KPIs, strong partner relationships, and clear, reliable reporting.
What You Will Be Doing:
Affiliate Account Operations:
- Ensure smooth operation of all affiliate activities, including campaign execution, metric monitoring, and optimization.
- Monitor and analyze campaign results, producing weekly and monthly KPI reports with insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to align the affiliate calendar and strategy with the broader brand plan.
- Support the Affiliate Manager with queries and monthly validation processes.
- Monitor affiliate profitability and performance, proactively flagging risks and opportunities.
- Audit publisher accounts and domains to ensure accurate representation of offers and maximized exposure.
Partner Relationships:
- Maintain regular, proactive contact with affiliate partners to keep them informed, engaged, and motivated.
- Negotiate and optimize individual affiliate partnerships to meet business objectives and ROI targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier 2 and Tier 3 publishers.
Portfolio Growth:
- Help build and manage the UK affiliate portfolio, supporting acquisition and retention campaigns.
- Optimize affiliate channel revenue to meet annual targets, identifying growth opportunities.
- Use Partnerize to conduct gap analyses and identify new partnership opportunities.
- Conduct market and competitor research to inform growth strategy.
Reporting and Insight:
- Deliver clear, concise, and reliable reporting on affiliate activity to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Data Analyst and Marketing Intelligence team to optimize performance and investment decisions.
- Use performance data to inform campaign refinement and strategic recommendations.
Budget and Financial Management:
- Track and report on affiliate channel spend and investment.
- Monitor commission models and ROI against targets.
- Support purchase order and invoice processing.
What You Need to Be Great in This Role:
- Proven experience in affiliate or influencer marketing management, with a track record of managing partner relationships, running campaigns, and delivering against revenue and ROI targets.
- Strong understanding of the affiliate marketing industry (commission models, tracking solutions, publisher types, platform mechanics).
- Experience working with affiliate platforms such as Partnerize or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for performance reporting.
- Comfortable working with campaign data and translating metrics into actionable insights.
- Experience collaborating with data and analytics teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with affiliate partners, including negotiation.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to affiliate marketing (campaign reporting, partner communication, insight synthesis, workflow management).
- Agentic approach to affiliate management challenges.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply sound commercial judgment.
Advantageous Experience:
- Background in consumer electronics or a comparable e-commerce environment.
- Familiarity with Partnerize or comparable affiliate tracking and management platforms.
- Knowledge of paid media or broader performance marketing channels.
