About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and hard-working Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate has proven experience in prospecting, is comfortable discussing technical products, and is eager to build a career in sales. This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to be based in the New York City area and work on-site at our office on a hybrid basis.

What You'll Do

  • Generate qualified sales meetings for senior sales representatives.
  • Conduct cold and warm sales calls.
  • Attend networking events and conferences.
  • Prospect on LinkedIn using Sales Navigator.
  • Identify and understand the needs of prospective clients.
  • Set up the sales team for success on your accounts.
  • Meticulously track your work and activities.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field.
  • 1+ year of recent experience as an SDR or BDR in the B2B space.
  • 1+ year of experience working in SaaS.
  • Proficiency with prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Outreach.io.
  • Expertise in managing a pipeline within Salesforce.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and approaching new people.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Eagerness to learn and openness to coaching.
  • Excitement to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Bonus Points

  • Strong understanding of API-based work.
  • B2B FinTech experience.
  • Experience working for a hypergrowth start-up company.

Compensation

  • The full-time salary range for this role is between $60,000 - $90,000 plus commission, equity, and benefits. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
