Salary Range: $32.56 - $43.27 (WA, NJ); $29.79 - $39.59 (MN, NV, TX, VA); $28.65 - $38.08 (AZ, ID, FL MT, OH) per hour, depending on experience.
Bonus: Annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: Up to 112 hours per year, plus 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.
About the Role
SanMar is seeking a Supervisor, Inside Sales to directly supervise and coach a team of employees, ensuring they meet job requirements and contribute to the organization's success. This role involves carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, and resolving issues.
What You'll Be Doing
- Align team with department, functional, and company goals and guiding principles.
- Supervise a team performing closely related tasks, and perform individual tasks alongside the team.
- Resolve complex issues using seasoned professional concepts and company objectives.
- Meet assigned goals and objectives.
- Delegate work to the team according to established procedures.
- Tailor coaching styles to individual team members.
- Monitor daily team operations, including productivity, accuracy, customer service levels, attendance, and call monitoring.
- Ensure team members are informed of all new information related to products, procedures, customer needs, and company issues.
- Prepare performance evaluations and meet with team members by scheduled deadlines.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales Managers on departmental decisions.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate Inside Sales policies, procedures, and systems for improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 4-6 years as an account manager, leading or supervising sales teams, or related experience.
- Ability to act independently to determine methods and procedures for team assignments.
- Proficiency in people and resource management through others.
- Ability to collaborate to complete department deliverables.
- High level of business acumen.
- Works well in a team environment and contributes to positive team spirit.
- Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
- Positive, supportive attitude towards the Company, job, customers, and co-workers.
- Timely identification and resolution of problems.
- Clear and persuasive communication (speaking and writing); active listening and clarification skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents (e.g., procedure manuals) and write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
