About the Role

LohnDialog, a company with over 30 years of experience in payroll and salary accounting, is seeking an experienced leader for its Sales and Marketing department. This role is crucial for the strategic and operational development of the department, focusing on building structures, professionalizing processes, and actively driving company growth. You will lead a team and be responsible for developing and implementing integrated sales and marketing strategies, particularly for acquiring medium-sized businesses and selling software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and disciplinary leadership, development, and management of the 5-person Sales & Marketing team.
  • Develop and implement an integrated sales and marketing strategy in the payroll environment, focusing on new customer acquisition from medium-sized companies and the sale of software solutions.
  • Plan, manage, and control all sales, marketing, and customer retention activities, including budget responsibility.
  • Analyze market, customer, and competitor data to identify growth potential and further develop products and pricing structures.
  • Optimize internal processes by initiating and managing projects for digitalization and automation in sales and marketing.
  • Build and maintain strategic customer and partner relationships.
  • Represent the company at relevant events and networking meetings.

Qualifications

  • Completed university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in Sales and Marketing, ideally in the Payroll sector or in selling software solutions.
  • Experience in leading a team; a hands-on leadership personality who also provides operational support.
  • Analytical and independent working style with strong entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Confident demeanor and strong communication skills in German and English; networking is second nature to you.
