Job Description

As a Sales Team Leader, you will lead a team of Insurance Consultants in a contact centre environment. Your primary focus will be coaching them to have better conversations with customers who have actively sought out life insurance through Lifebroker. You will report to the Head of Sales and Customer Care, work with a collaborative leadership team, and be accountable for achieving monthly sales targets while ensuring every customer interaction reflects the company's high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coach your team to consistently achieve sales targets through disciplined pipeline management and effective lead utilization.
  • Develop individual team member capabilities through regular one-on-one coaching, call reviews, and calibration sessions.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and proactively manage performance gaps and maintain standards.
  • Build an engaged and motivated team through recognition, incentives, and fostering a positive culture.
  • Uphold conduct and compliance standards to ensure trusted customer outcomes and business integrity.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading a sales team and helping individuals achieve performance goals, ideally in a contact centre or insurance environment.
  • Strong coaching mindset with the ability to develop sales capability through practical, hands-on feedback and support.
  • Confidence using performance data to identify opportunities and translate insights into action.
  • Sound understanding of contact centre workflows, including CRM and dialler-based systems (e.g., Genesys, Salesforce).
  • A collaborative and people-focused leadership style that builds trust, accountability, and genuine engagement.
