About the Role

As a Werkstudent (m/f/d) in Business Development, you will gain comprehensive insight into our eCommerce startup by supporting our Business Development team in daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity to actively contribute to our growth, develop your skills, and be part of an expanding company.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Development Team in daily operations and gain insights into our eCommerce startup.
  • Prepare and analyze sales, purchasing, and market data; maintain and develop existing reports and dashboards.
  • Communicate with partners and suppliers, prepare for meetings, and summarize key discussion points and next steps.
  • Assist in managing key customer and partner relationships.
  • Optimize strategic purchasing through price comparisons, offer analysis, and support in preparing negotiation documents.
  • Utilize AI tools for research, content creation, and process optimization.

Your Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field, with a strong passion for entrepreneurship and eCommerce.
  • Independent, structured, and organized approach to work.
  • Experience with and interest in AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, ChatGPT), Excel/GSheets, SQL, and BI tools.
  • Proactive communication style, comfortable using the phone for discussions and negotiations.
  • Eagerness to gain valuable practical experience in a dynamic startup environment and to develop professionally.
