Head of Cybersecurity & Quality Governance

About the Role

As the Head of Cybersecurity & Quality Governance, you will lead a specialized team of experts, drive strategic projects, and optimize governance and management systems. Your focus will be on ensuring robust information security, risk management, and quality standards within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership and development for a specialized expert team.
• Take responsibility for achieving strategic and operational departmental goals.
• Initiate, steer, and implement cross-departmental projects and transformation initiatives.
• Develop and optimize central governance and management systems, particularly in information security management, risk management, business continuity management, data protection, emergency and crisis management, and vulnerability and incident management.
• Ensure efficient processes and continuously improve quality and security standards.
• Identify, assess, and manage relevant risks.
• Foster an open, collaborative corporate culture and active knowledge exchange.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies with a technical, economic, or organizational focus, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in information security, governance, compliance, or quality management.
• Experience in leading teams or project organizations.
• In-depth knowledge of established information security standards, especially ISO/IEC 27001.
• Very good understanding of security processes, governance structures, and modern cybersecurity requirements.
• Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and moderation skills at all hierarchical levels.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.
