DevSecOps / IT Security Specialist (m/f/d)

Our client in Augsburg is seeking a DevSecOps / IT Security Specialist to drive the evolution of the DevSecOps approach within product teams. You will play a crucial role in enhancing security practices and ensuring a secure development environment.

About the Role

As a DevSecOps / IT Security Specialist, you will advance the DevSecOps approach in product teams, conduct security analyses and penetration tests, derive measures, and track their implementation. You will also support DevSecOps teams in developing overarching architectural and security concepts, and manage technology for largely autonomous development teams to ensure a consistent, secure development environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive the advancement of the DevSecOps approach within product teams.
• Conduct security analyses and penetration tests, derive measures, and track their implementation.
• Support DevSecOps teams in developing overarching architectural and security concepts.
• Manage technology for largely autonomous development teams to ensure a consistent, secure development environment.
• Advise internal business partners, departments, and colleagues from other IT departments on all matters related to security, architecture, and technology.

Requirements

• Successfully completed university degree (e.g., in Computer Science) or comparable qualification, with several years of experience as an IT Security Officer, Information Security Officer, or in a similar role.
• Ideally, experience in implementing security specifications (e.g., BSI) and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001).
• Structured, solution-oriented working style with a high interest in innovative technologies.
• Knowledge in IT Security, Software Architecture, and Technology Management.
• Very good German language skills.
