Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Supplier Sales (Entry-Level)

E1 (formerly EstimateOne), a market leader in SaaS tender management platforms for commercial builders, is expanding its 120-person team into the UK and seeking an entry-level Sales Development Representative (SDR) for its Supplier Sales team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start their sales career and learn the foundations from the ground up. You don't need extensive sales experience; curiosity, motivation, and a willingness to engage via phone are key.

As an SDR, you will play a vital role in building a strong pipeline of opportunities by identifying and qualifying ideal suppliers, initiating discovery conversations, and booking meetings with key stakeholders.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

  • Identifying and qualifying supplier leads and projects from various databases and sources.
  • Making outbound calls and engaging prospects to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Booking high-quality meetings for Business Development Managers (BDMs) and other outbound sales team members.
  • Conducting discovery conversations to uncover customer pain points and identify strong-fit opportunities.
  • Managing a pipeline of leads with discipline, focus, and attention to detail.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records, including detailed notes from conversations and customer insights.
  • Collaborating with marketing and sales teammates to leverage existing customer data.
  • Sharing insights, learnings, and market feedback with your team and the wider business.

Bonus Points If You Bring:

  • Experience in SaaS, tech, sales, or the construction industry.
  • Previous SDR, outbound sales, customer service, or phone-based experience.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce is used).
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to stay composed and constructive when facing objections.
  • An interest in developing into a Sales Consultant, BDM, or CSM role over time.

Salary Range

  • Base Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 AUD (plus superannuation)
