About the Consumer Group & Analytics Team

The Consumer Group focuses on building and developing Wolt's consumer-facing products, mastering user experience while scaling the platform. The Consumer Analytics Team partners with the product organization and business stakeholders to deliver timely insights, fostering a data-driven culture.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Data Scientist at Wolt, you will dive deep into data to solve crucial business problems. Your role will span diagnosing problems, identifying solutions, designing experiments, and influencing decision-making. This is an operational and actionable data-driven experience requiring a blend of technical skills and stakeholder engagement. You will take ownership of business outcomes, driving action rather than just performing analytics.

Our Expectations

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Data Analytics or Data Science position.
• Product Funnels & User Journeys: Experience working with product funnels and user journeys.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Statistical Analysis: Expertise in statistical analysis, including A/B testing using statistical software packages (Python, R, or equivalent) for product development.
• AI/ML: Experience using AI to accelerate work velocity, automate tasks, and generate SQL queries and experiment readouts.
• Data Visualization: Experience building intuitive data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Mixpanel, Looker, or similar.
• Problem Solving: Relentless pursuit of new ideas and the ability to systematically tackle ambiguous problems with a data-driven, hypothesis-based approach.
