About ScoutRex

ScoutRex is an early-stage startup (currently in formation) emerging from the research environment of Leibniz University Hannover. We are building a fair and intelligent system, and our team should reflect this mission. We welcome motivated, dedicated, and professional applicants who are enthusiastic about joining an early-stage company, making a real impact in their role, and being among the first to shape the future of technology. We have a working prototype and are preparing an EXIST startup grant application.

ScoutRex is founded by two individuals on the scientific and technical side. We are now looking for the commercial counterpart: someone responsible for how ScoutRex enters the DACH market. You will work directly with the founders as a core early team member, shaping our go-to-market strategy from the first pilots. This is an operational role, not one focused on building slides for management.

Responsibilities

  • Build the DACH pipeline: Research, identify, and approach German companies and HR teams for pilots and early partnerships.
  • Be the face of ScoutRex: Represent the company in pitches, partner discussions, university networks, and HR-Tech events.
  • Create pitch materials, presentations, and outreach campaigns, and co-shape our messaging and positioning.
  • Support enterprise procurement discussions and works council engagement.
  • Localize product content for target markets and provide customer and market feedback to the founders.
  • Oversee digital marketing and SEO strategy for the DACH market, manage local search presence, create region-specific content, run targeted campaigns, and track performance metrics to build inbound pipeline alongside outbound efforts.

Qualifications

  • Native or fluent German, as well as good English (our working language with the technical team).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Interest or experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or Partnerships.
  • Background in Business, Economics, Management, or Marketing (studies or early career).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in representing a young company to large corporations.
  • Proactive and self-driven: You take responsibility in a small team.
  • Genuine interest in AI, HR-Tech, and startups – you don't need to be an engineer.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or HR-Tech.
  • Knowledge of German enterprise procurement, labor law, or works council processes.
  • Startup or entrepreneurial experience.
  • Basic digital and data literacy, as well as design skills (tools, no-code) are a plus, but not a requirement.
