Real Estate Strategy Consultant - Deloitte

Deloitte's Strategy & Transactions team is seeking a Real Estate Strategy Consultant to join their Infrastructure & Real Estate practice. Help guide clients through critical moments and transformational initiatives related to their corporate real estate portfolios and operations.

This role is based in Tampa, Florida, United States.

Position Summary

As a Consultant on the Infrastructure & Real Estate team, you will be a trusted advisor to Senior Leaders of Corporate Real Estate organizations, CFOs, COOs, and other key executives. You will help clients create value across the entire corporate real estate lifecycle, from strategic location selection and footprint optimization to workplace design and function enhancement.

Work You'll Do

• Support real estate portfolio optimization strategies, including master planning, campus/headquarters strategy, restructuring, cost optimization, implementation planning, and analytics.
• Assess and design Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Facilities Management (FM), and workplace operating models, organizational structures, service delivery models, and business processes.
• Deliver CRE and FM outsourcing/insourcing consulting services and technology platform advisory.
• Enhance CRE, FM, or workplace business processes and workflows across the real estate lifecycle.
• Design and implement workplace strategies, digital workplace technology, smart building/IoT strategies, and workforce mobility programs.
• Develop quantitative and qualitative analyses, presentations, and project management artifacts.
• Collaborate with engagement teams, support stakeholder interviews, facilitate workshops, and manage priorities in a fast-paced client environment.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of relevant consulting experience in professional services focused on corporate real estate, OR 2+ years of experience serving in an internal role at a corporate real estate organization.
• Experience with real estate portfolio optimization strategies (master planning, campus/HQ strategy, restructuring, cost optimization, implementation planning, analytics).
• Experience with CRE, FM, or workplace strategy/business processes across the real estate lifecycle.
• Experience in 2+ of the following domains: CRE operations improvement, operating model design, outsourcing, workplace strategy, digital workplace, portfolio strategy, CRE M&A, smart buildings, sustainability, or service delivery.
• Ability to travel 50% on average.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA.
• Experience developing workplace strategy deliverables (change management, communication plans, business cases, etc.).
• Experience applying change management concepts in a CRE environment.
• Experience with integrated workplace technologies (IWMS, EAM, smart building ecosystems).
• Experience using analytics to optimize business processes.
