Presentation Designer (Freelance, Remote) - Mindrift/Tendem

Mindrift is looking for a highly skilled Presentation Designer to join the Tendem project (https://tendem.ai/). This part-time remote freelance role is ideal for creative professionals experienced in visual communications, information design, and storytelling. You will collaborate with AI agents to deliver beautifully designed, high-stakes presentations.

About the Role

As a Presentation Designer on the Tendem project, you will focus on storytelling and visual hierarchy. Your primary responsibility is to translate raw data and narratives into compelling, highly persuasive slides and one-pagers, ensuring a polished, premium corporate-meets-creative style. You will utilize tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-stakes pitch decks and professional one-pagers tailored for specific audiences.
• Translate complex data into clear visual storytelling, emphasizing minimalism and precise information hierarchy.
• Elevate presentations using custom fonts, elegant animations, and consistent visual branding.
• Ensure a polished, persuasive, and premium corporate-meets-creative style.
• Execute formatting quality standards through meticulous validation of visual alignment, pacing, and brand adherence.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization is desirable.
• Education (Plus): Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related creative fields.
• Presentation Software: Expertise in PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.
• Design Tools: Deep proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Figma.
• Data & Information Design: Ability to translate complex data and hierarchical structures into clear, minimalist visual storytelling.
• Typography & Animation: Advanced skills in working with custom fonts and creating smooth, elegant animations.
• English Proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above is required.

Additional Requirements

• Hands-on experience creating high-end, premium corporate-meets-creative style layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to visual perfection.
• Self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot design challenges independently.
• Portfolio: Your CV must include a link to your portfolio featuring high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization. Applications without a portfolio link or relevant cases will not be considered.

Project Time Expectations

• Tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week during active project phases. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.

Compensation

• Contributors can earn up to $50 per hour equivalent on this project, depending on their level and pace of contribution.

Mindrift offers freelance opportunities on a project basis, with compensation varying based on scope, complexity, and required expertise.
