Presentation Designer - Tendem Project (Part-Time Remote)

Mindrift is seeking a highly skilled Presentation Designer to join the Tendem project (https://tendem.ai/). This role is integral to driving specialized storytelling workflows within our hybrid AI + human system. You will collaborate with Tendem Agents, leveraging your critical thinking, domain expertise, and formatting skills to produce beautifully designed, high-stakes presentations. This is a freelance, part-time remote opportunity ideal for creative professionals experienced in visual communications, information design, and storytelling.

About the Role:
As a Presentation Designer on this freelance Tendem project, your focus will be on storytelling and visual hierarchy. We need a specialist adept at communicating complex information elegantly, transforming raw data and narratives into compelling, highly persuasive slides and one-pagers. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Adobe Creative Suite or Figma is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design high-stakes pitch decks and professional one-pagers tailored for specific audiences.
• Translate complex data into clear visual storytelling with a strong focus on minimalism and precise information hierarchy.
• Elevate presentations using custom fonts, elegant animations, and perfect visual consistency.
• Enforce a polished, persuasive, and premium corporate-meets-creative style across all deliverables.
• Execute formatting quality standards through meticulous validation of visual alignment, pacing, and brand adherence before final delivery.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization is desirable.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related creative fields is a plus.
• Presentation Software: Expertise in PowerPoint, Keynote, etc., for building complex, dynamic, and perfectly animated decks.
• Design Tools: Deep proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Figma to create custom graphics and layouts.
• Data & Information Design: Ability to translate complex data and multi-level hierarchical structures into clear, minimalist visual storytelling.
• Typography & Animation: Advanced skills in working with custom fonts and smooth, elegant animations for premium deliverables.
• English Proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above (required).

Additional Requirements:

• Hands-on experience creating high-end, premium corporate-meets-creative style layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and absolute commitment to visual perfectness.
• Self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot design challenges independently.
• Portfolio Requirement: Your CV must include a link to your portfolio featuring high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization. Applications without a portfolio link, or without relevant presentation cases, will not be considered.

Project Time Expectations:
Tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload.

Compensation:
Contributors can earn up to $40 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution. Compensation varies across projects.
