Business Development Representative (BDR) - FloQast (Hybrid)

FloQast, the leading AI-powered Accounting Transformation Platform, is hiring a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join its growing London-based Sales team. This role is ideal for individuals driven by team wins and sales commissions, focused on acquiring new clients for our SaaS accounting solution. You will target finance and accounting professionals within organizations of all sizes, supporting the enterprise segment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client problems and how FloQast provides solutions.
  • Create effective prospecting lists using various sources (internet, social media, referrals, inbound leads).
  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly activity targets for Sales Activities, including outbound efforts (phone, email, social media) to engage key influencers and decision-makers.
  • Schedule and conduct introductory qualifying calls.
  • Convert qualified prospects into scheduled demos for Account Executives.
  • Document all activities in sales force automation systems.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including Account Executives, the marketing team, and sales management.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2+ years in a customer-facing role, with prior accounting/finance experience or a related field, showing interest in a sales career; OR prior experience in a similar B2B SaaS role.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new concepts.
  • Eagerness to be coached.
  • Commitment to self-improvement and success.
  • Team player with a collaborative orientation.
  • Ability to remain organized and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tenacious and committed to exceeding targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competitive, ambitious, and driven, with a self-starter attitude.
  • Nice-to-haves: Cold calling and/or Salesforce.com experience.

Location:
This role is on-site 3 days per week in our central London office (Hybrid).
