About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects, specifically within Banking Application implementation. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into functional specifications, acting as an expert in DevOps practices for the banking sector.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate code quality checks, building, packaging, and deployment processes across Linux, IBM AIX, Windows, and OpenShift container management.
• Utilize Jenkins scripted and parameterized pipelines, integrating with Git, SonarQube, Docker, OpenShift, Liquibase, databases, microservices, and Postman.
• Implement and enhance web tools to automate routine release, application, and data management tasks.
• Configure and maintain health-checking and monitoring tools using Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of implementation experience in the above responsibilities.
• Platforms: Underlying platforms include Linux, IBM AIX, Windows, OpenShift container management.
• Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team, adhering to strict deadlines.
• Communication: Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal).
• Analytical Skills: Analytical thinking with problem-solving abilities.
• Military Service: Fulfilled military service obligations (if applicable).

Assets:

• Good understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and administration experience.
• Proficiency in bash/corn/other Unix shell scripting.
• Comfortable with scripting in Python or another popular scripting language.
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in the banking and financial industry.
