Why This Role Matters:

Our sales floor is the engine of our business. We are scaling our SDR and AE teams and need a recruiter who owns sales hiring as their own business. This is not a req-jockey role; you will run sales hiring end-to-end, building personas, messaging, pipelines, and assessment processes to secure 5 to 8 strong hires every month. You'll work closely with sales managers, calibrating hiring standards in real time.

What You'll Own:

  • Pipeline and Sourcing: Build and sustain a candidate pipeline yielding 5-8 sales hires monthly (at least 50% sourced). Conduct 20+ candidate screens weekly, treating the calendar as a leading indicator. Utilize LinkedIn, Juicebox, and creative sourcing tools for high response rates.
  • Assessment: Quickly and qualitatively assess candidates for grit, consistency, communication, and coachability. Identify signals beyond resumes and LinkedIn. Drive hiring manager decisions while upholding quality standards.
  • Sales Hiring Brand and Collateral: Establish SDR and AE hiring personas. Build candidate-facing collateral that attracts the right talent and encourages self-selection out. Position sales roles by highlighting the product, market, comp upside, and team.
  • In-Person Hiring in Austin: Own the in-person hiring strategy in Austin. Build local sourcing channels, university partnerships, trade show presence, and on-site interview days. Be visibly in the market through coffees, events, and meetups.
  • Quality and Retention: Increase retention and promotion rates by raising the bar at the top of the funnel. Partner with sales leadership on post-hire ramp signals to close the loop between assessment and outcomes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting, with significant experience recruiting SDRs, AEs, or other high-velocity sales roles.
  • Proven track record of sustaining high-volume sales pipelines and hitting monthly hire targets.
  • Strong sourcing skills with LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, and modern tools.
  • Experience designing or refining sales hiring processes, including assessment loops predicting on-the-floor performance.
  • Attributes:
  • Relentless executor with a highly managed calendar.
  • Extreme owner who treats sales hiring as their full scope and reports on it like a P&L.
  • High bar for talent with a specific point of view on great sellers.
  • Marketer at heart, skilled in writing, positioning, and merchandising roles.
  • Builder of long-term channels, investing in universities, events, and relationships.
  • Sales-floor energy, eager to collaborate with managers and reps.
