About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Director to act as the dedicated liaison between clients and our internal teams. This role ensures seamless communication, project execution, and timely delivery of client initiatives. You will be responsible for creating and nurturing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency, accountability, and smooth operations throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Drive the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, maintaining a robust pipeline.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor critical path timelines for all client projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment (Product Development, Marketing, QA, Supply Chain, Finance) to meet client requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates and status reports to clients and internal teams.
  • Facilitate approvals, artwork, samples, documentation, and product specifications.
  • Proactively escalate risks, delays, or challenges with recommended solutions.
  • Manage budgets, quotations, and change requests in collaboration with Finance and Project Management.
  • Represent the client voice internally, ensuring product quality, timelines, and communication standards.
  • Support innovation and new product launches by coordinating with PD and Marketing for client-ready presentations.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, approvals, and correspondence using project platforms like Smartsheet.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Account Management or Client Services, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, or Private Label.
  • Strong knowledge of product development cycles, packaging, and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of the cosmetic/beauty industry, including trends and business development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Project Management Software.
  • Willingness to travel globally and within North America as needed.
