About the Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be instrumental in filling the Sales team's pipeline with qualified opportunities. This role offers ample opportunity to leverage your personality, creativity, and strategic thinking to directly influence conversations with prospects in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment. Success in this role can lead to internal opportunities in Sales, Client Experience, Marketing, Partnerships, Strategic Accounts, and more within 12-24 months.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new relationships through phone, email, and social media to secure meetings with senior-level decision-makers.
  • Assess prospect needs, identify pain points, explain Movable Ink's solutions, and qualify/disqualify prospects during introductory calls.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Account Executives to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Log organized notes, build presentation decks, gather contact information, and nurture contacts post-opportunity.
  • Conduct thorough research on accounts and prospects to formulate outreach strategies.
  • Build mock-ups to illustrate additional value Movable Ink can provide.
  • Utilize sales databases and prospecting tools to manage your pipeline and maintain accurate information.

Requirements

  • Self-motivation and a desire to succeed in a fast-paced, highly strategic sales environment.
  • Proven experience with prioritization and organization in a professional setting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, management, and other departments.
  • 1+ years of experience in a marketing or sales development role is preferred, but not required.
