The Position:

The Revenue Growth team accelerates GameChanger's revenue by enhancing conversion, retention, and subscriber lifetime value. Working at the intersection of product, data, and experimentation, the team drives metrics through testing and user behavior analysis. This role is data-driven, fast-paced, and directly impacts the company's bottom line.

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team focused on running experiments across all product areas, leveraging data and user insights to identify opportunities and validate hypotheses. You will coach your team, shape the experimentation roadmap, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to link hypotheses to business outcomes. You will report to the Director of Engineering of the Monetization group.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coach and develop engineers through regular 1:1s, clear expectations, and skill-building opportunities.
  • Shape the experimentation roadmap by partnering with cross-functional peers, navigating trade-offs, and driving predictable delivery.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation, ensuring correct feature instrumentation, reliable test design, engineering rigor, and rapid iteration.
  • Guide the technical direction of GameChanger’s experimentation platform, supporting other teams in running effective A/B tests.
  • Collaborate with other engineering leaders to enhance organizational culture, craft, and engineering practices.
  • Attract and onboard top engineering talent, ensuring alignment with company values, technical excellence, and AI fluency.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams and 5+ years of software development experience, including architectural design and technical direction, with a proven track record of growing engineering talent.
  • Technically fluent across platforms including native iOS or Android development, web, and backend.
  • Highly organized, strategic, and execution-minded, with the ability to translate ambiguity into clear plans and shippable increments.
  • Comfortable in a metrics-driven environment, understanding how A/B testing, funnel analysis, and behavioral data inform product and engineering decisions.
  • Believe that speed and engineering rigor are complementary, applying high standards for code quality, testing, and system health to experimental work.
  • Actively developing your own AI fluency and helping your team do the same, maintaining high standards for judgment and ownership.
  • Motivated by GameChanger’s mission to connect communities through sport.

Compensation:

The target salary range for this position is $180,000 - $210,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary based on experience, internal pay equity, and other business considerations.
