About the Role:

As a Content Creator specializing in Biology, you will play a pivotal role in developing captivating educational content. You will ensure content is not only useful but also tailored to the specific needs of learners, translating complex curriculum requirements into clear, student-friendly lesson plans. This role requires previous experience with the Biology HSC or VCE curriculum.

What You’ll Do:

• Write engaging educational content, including video scripts, assessments, and text lessons.
• Transform curriculum documents into clear, practical course and lesson plans.
• Break down complex syllabus points using your Biology expertise to create easily understandable content.
• Stay current with subject content and evidence-based teaching strategies.
• Follow a detailed style guide to ensure content consistency and audience appropriateness.
• Manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with Visual Content Designers, Subject Team Leads, and other stakeholders.
• Share ideas and contribute to improving team processes through feedback and discussions.

What You’ll Bring to Atomi:

• Deep knowledge of secondary school Biology (HSC or VCE experience required).
• Strong understanding of effective content delivery for students.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
• A passion for education and learning design.
• Comfort working collaboratively and communicating ideas clearly.
• Proficiency with project management tools (or willingness to learn).
• Demonstrated success in Biology, either as a teacher or student.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is a bonus.
• An interest in learning design is beneficial, with training provided if needed.
