The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive the early stages of the sales cycle. You will identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities, playing a critical role in fueling the company's growth by building a strong pipeline for our sales organization. The ideal candidate is energetic, driven, passionate about sales, possesses strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a desire for career advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads through outbound account targeting, lead development, cold calling, and multi-touch outreach, as well as following up on inbound marketing-generated leads.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly objectives for leads and new meetings.
  • Continuously learn and develop professionally.
  • Embrace, adapt to, and contribute to a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Demonstrate accountability and ownership of personal success.
  • Collaborate with the broader sales organization to drive pipeline growth.
  • Develop a clear understanding of Tipalti’s product and service value propositions.
  • Master the prospecting processes and overall sales process.
  • Show progression and a desire to excel in the SDR role, seeking knowledge and skills for advancement within the sales organization.
  • Meet agreed-upon metrics for activity (calls and emails) and align with marketing initiatives.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC).
  • 1+ years of inside sales software experience preferred.
  • Experience calling into the C-suite (CXO level).
  • Proven track record with new account development.
  • Highly motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Consistent track record for meeting and exceeding lead generation and sales objectives.
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment, and professionalism.
  • Self-starter with solid organizational and planning skills.
  • Discipline to maintain high call volumes.

Anticipated Base Pay Rate: $60,000 CAD.

Variable (commission or bonus) pay will be in addition to the base salary.
